Hand-drawn, turned into an adorable embroidery design - the Tawny Frogmouth is definitely one of my favorite Australian animals, which I love listening to at night time in our backyard.

The filled stitch is light and open, so that the fabric is shining through a little bit. This gives the design a more lively appearance. The outline is a running stitch in doodle style, just like a hand drawing.
